Dear friends,
Our time in the USA has come to an end and we are now back to our life in Ecuador. We are so thankful for the opportunity to have been in the USA all these months, and to have accomplished so much! While we came with the express purpose of weaning Jude off of his epilepsy/seizure medication, and that was ultimately unsuccessful, we were able to do so much for him in other areas. He got a new brace for his leg, botox for stretching his muscles, casts, a lift for his shoe… so many more things we can’t even list them. So while our original goal wasn’t attainable, God has given us new goals and a great team of doctors at Cincinnati Children’s to help us reach them. Everyone we met was just so good to us, and our medical appointments went so well because people were so incredibly accommodating, and they are all excited to help Jude in these areas going forward when we visit next time. We are so grateful to everyone and to the Lord for giving us favor in this area!

We cannot begin to express our gratitude to all those who helped us with all the things we needed to make this trip possible: vehicles, housing, extra financial gifts, prayer! You have all made this possible for us and for our children, and we could not do this life without you. I just want to make it clear that it is not just us, the D’Varga family, who are in this venture. It is in every way, a team effort. We are, together, the body of Christ and when we are in Ecuador our family may be the ones with feet on the ground, but it is only by the efforts and prayers of the rest of our body that we are there. So from the operators of the feet, we thank you for being the legs, arms, etc. of the body! We could not walk without you!!

We are excited for this next phase of life in San Pedro and want you all to please pray with us over the following goals as we head home:
—That we would begin to see converts in San Pedro and in the general area where we live
—That the ministry in Catamayo would continue to flourish, as would the work in Loja Prison
—That we would successfully plant a church in San Pedro
—That we would be able to begin a Christian school in San Pedro, ministering to people with not only education but also the Gospel.
—That people around us would give their lives and hearts to Jesus, and that believers would grow in maturity in their relationship with the Lord.
—That our newest recruits to Acts 1:8 Mission Society, the Heinen family, would be able to get their affairs in order and join us shortly on the field in San Pedro. Please pray for them as they prepare to make this difficult transition.

- Due to the fact that we do not pay a secretary and our volunteer secretary's life is too hectic to keep doing our state side paperwork and banking, we thought it wise to open a P.O. Box, so that no matter what happens in the future, we should be able to keep the same address to receive donations and other correspondence. The checks can continue to be made out the way they always have, they just need sent to the new address above. Thank you all for your understanding and patience and may God bless!
